This work is aimed at the use of training complexes as part of volunteer fire brigades in practical exercises to increase their level of professional readiness. As a working hypothesis, the study showed that the effectiveness of training in vol-unteer fire departments can be increased if: – the training will be aimed at creating coherence and coordination of joint actions to eliminate fires; – setting goals, teaching methods will be focused on the use of training tools in the composition of fire brigades in the form of special complexes. Therefore, the relevance of the work is due to the need to improve the efficiency of the professional activities of employees of voluntary fire brigades to ensure the elimina-tion of fire in municipal facilities, as well as the low level of professional training of em-ployees of volunteer fire brigades, management, which does not allow them to effectively solve problems during an incident with a fire in municipal facilities.
