This article shows the results of monitoring the technical condition of equipment at various posts along the A-331 "Vilyuy" and R-504 "Kolyma" highways. An analysis of the main failures, their causes, and the measures taken to address them is provided. The peculiarities of equipment operation in extreme climatic conditions are identified, and recommendations for improving the reliability and durability of the equipment are proposed. This study represents a comprehensive analysis of the operation of monitoring equipment on the A-331 "Vilyuy" and R-504 "Kolyma" highways in permafrost conditions.
