Road safety is the main priority for the life and health of citizens. This article presents an analytical review over the past five years according to the traffic police of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) of Yakutsk. Comparisons were made of traffic accidents that occurred at different times of the year. Climate and weather are components of natural factors that significantly affect the transport and operational characteristics of roads, traffic safety conditions and mode of operation.

A statistical analysis of road safety for 2013-2022 was carried out. The distribution of road traffic accidents (road accidents) by year, month, day of the week and hour of the day is given. The main reasons for their commission are indicated and recommendations are given to reduce road accidents in Yakutsk.
