This article investigates the impact of digitalization processes on the formation of artistic perception and consumption of contemporary art among youth. The analysis focuses on digital platforms such as social networks, virtual museums, and online galleries. It examines how digital technologies expand access to cultural heritage and current art practices while simultaneously transforming the viewer's role from a passive observer into an active participant in cultural dialogue. Particular attention is paid to the paradoxical nature of this influence: on one hand, the democratization and popularization of art, and on the other – the risk of superficial, "clip-based" perception and dependence on content curation algorithms. The conclusion emphasizes the need for developing digital and media literacy to foster a holistic and profound understanding of contemporary art in the digital age. The research findings may be useful for educators, cultural scholars, and exhibition organizers.
