The success of work on developing the speech of school students largely depends on how fully the materials of the program and textbooks on the Russian language are used. We analyzed two educational and methodological sets of the Russian language from the point of view of the representation in them of the required number of tasks and exercises aimed at enriching the vocabulary of students: edited by T.A. Ladyzhenskaya and V.V. Babaytseva in Russian for 7th grade.
