Particular attention is paid to the problem of ice congestion, insufficient number of protective structures and imperfection of the warning system. As recommendations, it is proposed to strengthen early warning, build additional engineering structures, inform citizens about security measures and create reserve stocks of resources. Guliaeva V. N. PROJECT-BASED LEARNING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION: CREATING A NATURE TRAIL AT VERKHOYANSK SECONDARY SCHOOL // Научно-методический электронный журнал «Концепт». – 2026. – . – URL: http://e-koncept.ru/2026/0.htm
This article presents a project focused on establishing an educational nature trail as a resource for environmental stewardship at the Verkhoyansk Secondary School named after M.L. Novgorodov. The main goal of the project was to foster a sense of responsibility among the younger generation towards the local ecosystem, particularly in the town of Verkhoyansk. The paper details the project's implementation stages, which included preliminary research, practical investigation, and route development. The initiative had significant success: students acquired foundational research skills, demonstrated a high increase in environmental knowledge, and formed a community of activists who regularly participate in eco-actions. This experience demonstrates the viability of an ecological trail as an effective tool for uniting youth around the goal of preserving their local ecosystem and cultivating a sustainable environmental culture.
