The evolution of Russian community at present stage proposes a new approach in patriotic upbringing of modern young generation. In this case a greater attention must be paid to the youth patriotic values by the authorities of the Highest Vocational Education system.

In modern Russia, one of the priorities of national importance is the formation of young people tolerance and the ability to live in a multicultural environment. The article analyzes the problem of tolerance in a multicultural environment and provides recommendations to the future teachers needed in their future professional activity.

The Reform of the higher pedagogical education and realization of the ideas of personality oriented educational paradigm require new approaches to the preparation of the pedagogical staff.
