This article is devoted to the issue of introducing to the curriculum bases of culture and religion, and features of the presentation such specific material for a pupil. For a basis of this teaching in the article is proposed an update problem of a child's thinking skills, implementation of which is seen in the development of existing value systems.

The article considers the variation of the plot line in the creation and development of the images of the heroes of the novels of S.Sergeev-Tsensky "Transformation". According to the laws of a fairy tale genre, faithful friends of the heroes, a cat and a dog, stand up for them. Animals are human helpers not only in fairy tales but also in human life. At a difficult time, the dog and the cat came to help Martynka and the old man and the old woman. They stole a magic ring, also a pouch and returned them to their masters. Good always defeats evil.
