Improving the mechanisms for assessing the quality of psychological and pedagogical training of future teachers is connected with the possibility of integrating the requirements of the updated federal state educational standard in the area of training 44.03.01 “Pedagogical education” and the professional standard “Teacher (pedagogical activity in the sphere of preschool, primary general, basic general, secondary general education) (educator, teacher) ". It is necessary to define together with interested parties the list of competences to be formed as the main results of psychological and pedagogical training of future teachers, as well as to justify indicators of recommended professional competencies achievement and independently established professional competencies, based on the requirements for the graduate’s professional activities in a particular educational system or in a particular educational organization.
The article contains the description of an example of organizing extra-curricular activities for older preschoolers (5-7 years old) in English in the form of a reading club. It is reported how such a club can be organized, how to plan lessons with this age group, what results can be achieved with this kind of educational activity. It is stated that the educational plan and learning conditions are adequate to the federal state educational standard of preschool education.
The article discusses cognitive universal actions and their formation when studying the topic "Structural programming". It also contains information about the concept of structured programming, as well as teaching methods.
The article reflects the main problems of modern assessment systems, considers the key concepts, mechanisms and methods of assessment that exist in the modern education system. Special attention is paid to the concepts of “criteria-based assessment”, “formative and ascertaining assessment”.
One of their most important areas of activity, in the context of modernization in the education system, is the development of human resources. The priority of this direction of education development is also fixed in the Strategy for the Development of Russian Education until 2020, the Federal State Educational Standard of Preschool Education.
