The article discusses the concept of "image of the city." The author analyzes the poetry of Pavlodar poets of different time periods – Pavel Vasiliev and Olga Grigorieva, which are inextricably linked with the history and cultural appearance of Pavlodar. The poetry of Pavel Vasiliev is a cultural and literary value of Eurasian scale. Olga Grigoryeva is a modern author, but her poetry is rightfully included in the general cultural fund of Pavlodar Irtysh. By analyzing poetic texts, the author reveals the appearance of the city of different eras. The work is a continuation of scientific research in the framework of the project "The general cultural landscape of Pavlodar as an encyclopedic phenomenon."
The article notes that the Crimean War of 1853-1856. in modern historical science receives assessments and interpretations that refer to the jingoistic perception of it in modern war literature and journalism. There are studies that deny obvious facts: the war was started by Russia, the army and navy were significantly inferior to the enemy troops in terms of equipment and weapons, the leadership of the troops was not always reasonable, the war ended with the defeat of the Russian Empire. The conclusion is made about the inadmissibility of forgetting historical facts.
The article talks about the difficulties faced by modern schoolchildren when studying biblical motifs in Russian literature lessons. The urgency of this problem in modern education is emphasized, since according to the Federal State Educational Standard, a teacher should not only be engaged in education, but also bring up spiritual and moral values in a child. The ways of solving this problem through traditional and non-traditional methods and techniques are proposed. In conclusion, the importance and necessity of studying biblical motifs in a modern lesson of Russian literature and the place of the Bible in human life are emphasized.
