The article discusses the possibilities of introducing a local history component in the organization of project activities in literature lessons. The formation of interest in the study of the native land is a condition for the birth of love for the Motherland. The activity of the teacher of Russian language and literature traditionally pays attention to the local history aspect. The article presents various topics of literature projects that allow students to learn more about their native land, get acquainted with the work of poets and writers of the region.

The article presents a system of assignments for independent work of the fifth grade in literature lessons, in order to increase the efficiency of mastering knowledge. The independent work of schoolchildren is divided into two types: activities during the lesson and after school hours, which may differ in the forms of work. The modern world also makes it possible to use electronic educational resources to create interactive tasks, which, in turn, provide a wide range of types of tasks. In total, five different tasks are pre-sented, which not only show a high level of performance, but also increase interest in the subject.
The paper gives a brief overview of the expression of the associative connection of phenomena in syntactic constructions. As examples, sentences from the works of A.P. Chekhov are taken, comparative constructions are chosen as the subject of analysis. The aim is to determine the place of comparative adjuncts in literary works.
