High-quality training of future specialist is impossible without the use of modern educational technologies: professionally-oriented foreign language teaching, the use of project work, the use of multimedia technologies, working with educational computer programs, remote technologies in teaching foreign languages, creating presentations in PowerPoint, using Internet re-sources, teaching a foreign language on forums, blogs, platforms, via e-mail and the like. Developing methodological science, the main methods of teaching foreign languages are considered to be communicative and constructivist methods. In the light of the communicative approach to the study of foreign languages, it is necessary to consider the concept of pragmalinguistics.
The article deals with the basic principles, methods and techniques of working with professionally relevant lexical material at the preparatory course; examples of practical tasks on mastering the vocabulary of the military historical text are given. The author argues that in the development of communicative competence for the development of speech professional competence of foreign military specialists in the professional field as a special pragmatic form of verbal communication, an appropriate place and role should be assigned, and initially this should be thoughtfully and psychologically reinforced in the educational process. The article shows the features of the methodology of teaching discipline depending on the difficulties that arise in the process of mastering it.
the article deals with the problem of adaptation of extensive texts in the Humanities for foreign students. Based on the experience in the Military Telecommunications Academy, the author offers an example of how to transform a scientific text into an adapted educational material for foreign students using the techniques of rubrication, creolization, destructuralization and problematization. This takes into account the general didactic principles of adequacy, the relationship of the elements of the program, the principle of consistency. The author also believes that in the course of mastering educational material on humanitarian discipline it is necessary to develop all types of speech activity.

These basic principles and main elements for creating modern educational materials of the professional language based on the online professional development course in the professional language organized by the Zlatoust Educational and Publishing Center (St. Petersburg) are discussed in the article. The authors demonstrate self-created materials for practical classes, based on the principle of authenticity – both in the selection of texts and in creating tasks and exercises to them.

The author highlights both General pedagogical principles of pedagogical deontology, such as humanism, tolerance, respect for the personality of the student, and important principles of professional activity of the teacher of the special faculty: taking into account the peculiarities of culture, national traditions and customs of students, especially the national education system of the countries from which foreign soldiers arrived for training, the level of Russian as a foreign language.
