The article is devoted to the phenomenon of professional identity as an integral part of professional self-concept of the future teachers. This study was to determine the differences in the process of formation of professional identity of students of high school and college. Defined the concept of the reference topics are presented results of the study, set the direction for further research.

The relevance of the study is related to the huge personnel turnover in voluntary sector and low level of volunteer assistance training for people with disabilities. Therefore, the goal of the work is to reveal the features of the project "Voice of a Book" activities and a program that can affect the increase of volunteers’ motivation level. The “Voice of a Book” project activity develops in several stages, each of them is aimed at the common goal achieving and includes key events: discussion of the project with a deputy of the Russian Federation State Duma and regional leaders, representatives of various volunteer activity organizations and Chelyabinsk Regional Special Library for people with visual impairments and blind; taking part in the projects presentation at the All-Russia Educational Forum "Territory of Senses on Klyazma"; participation in the National Prize Competition "Student Watch", in the nomination "For the Protection of Human Rights with health deviations people"; recording studio premises equipping; official website of the project "The Voice of a Book" and groups in social networks launching; interaction with other countries; project "Voice of a Book" advertising; monitoring of necessary literature for further recording; recording of audiobooks, etc. The volunteers of the social project "The Voice of a Book" by South Ural State Humanitarian Pedagogical University are the base of the research. In the course of the study, six methods were used: "Determination of personality orientation" by B. Bass, "Determination of personal labor satisfaction " test by A. Batarsheva, "Personality motivational structure diagnosis" by V. E. Milman, "Questionnaire for motivation sources determination" by J. Barbuto and R. Scola, "Investigation of motives" by K. B. Christiane, questionnaire by V. I. Dolgova and L. A. Mlkeian. The main results of the work include motivational program development for volunteers of "Voice of a Book" project. It comprises ten classes that are conducted within a month. After the program implementation, the attitude of volunteers to their work changed significantly, as well as the person's orientation toward the task and interaction, satisfaction with work, striving for knowledge, standards for personal qualities evaluation and standards of competence. The practical significance of the research is in the fact that the conclusions drawn from the comparative procedures of the analysis can enrich the educational, consultative, correctional and developmental work with the volunteers of social programs.
The article presents a study of the features of the Self-concept and the level of anxiety of children from disadvantaged families and children from families in the norm. The paper describes the perception of themselves, their self-esteem in adolescents at different levels of anxiety.

The article is devoted to the actual problem of developing students’ self-concept within a foreign language course at university. Self-concept determines all aspects of human behavior and is crucial for one’s self-actualization and self-fulfillment. Life in modern society requires constant professional development and personal growth which makes developing students’ self-concept one of the goals of education in general and teachers training in particular. The purpose of the article is to analyze and systematize the practices at Russian and international institutions of higher education aimed at developing students’ self-concepts, determine the main approaches to self-concept development, ascertain the effective means for self-concept development. The leading method of theoretical research was analysis of Russian and international works in the fields of education and psychology, studying and systematizing educational practice of Russian and international universities in developing students’ self-concepts. The empirical methods included observation in the framework of internships in the USA and Germany (2006-2019) and surveys. The key result of the article is the layout description of the program for complex development of education major students’ self-concepts within a foreign language course at university, that uses the positive experience of Russian and foreign universities in this field. The proposed program consists of five parts: theoretical, diagnostic, planning, formative and transferring. The program can be implemented as a separate course or can be incorporated into a traditional course of a foreign language at a university. The theoretical value of the research consists in the review of scientific literature in the areas of research, overview of the approaches to representing the structure of self-concept in education. The practical significance consists in the proposal of the author’s layout of the program for developing education major students’ self-concepts within a foreign language course at university.
