Cancers of the female reproductive system are among the most common types of cancer. This problem is particularly acute in countries with underdeveloped healthcare systems. The goal was to develop a device that would reduce costs and improve the effectiveness of radiation therapy, particularly intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT). North-Eastern Federal University and the Yakutsk Republican Oncology Center, together with Tomsk Polytechnic University, are developing a compact Betatron CMB-8 radiation therapy device. To develop a therapeutic unit based on this device, it is necessary to study the characteristics of this accelerator's beam level under various conditions, observing accelerated electrons on red blood cells from patients diagnosed with breast cancer (BC) and cervical cancer (CC). The results obtained will also help determine the potential for using the Betatron CMB-8 in clinical practice.
