This article considers the methods of cars insulating in winter in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Various aspects of this issue are considered to highlight this problem: climatic conditions of Yakutia and its distinctive features, such as duration and temperatures. The most common problems and breakdowns are caused by negative temperatures that change the physical properties of materials, and part of the popular insulation methods to prevent them.

This work analyzes and compares the climatic conditions of the territories located in the Amga River valley. A climate map of average annual temperatures of the years was created on the base of the obtained data and research. The map also contains the warmest and coldest average annual indicators.
