This article provides information about rodent in Yakutia. The main types of rodent species are considered. In Yakutia, there are richly represented orders of rodent, more than 25 species. The article provides a systematic review of the results of research of some rodent (common Yakut flying squirrel, common squirrel, Asian Yakut chipmunk, gray rat, house mouse and muskrat). The work also studies the territory of the plot covered with pine-larch forests, marsh and alas, habitat and feeding rodent. The article is intended for biology students and those who are interested in rodent of Yakutia. You can get acquainted with the fauna of Yakutia, its diversity of geological and climatic conditions.

The article discusses the prospects for the development of ecological tourism in the National Park “Lena Pillars” of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Ecotourism has its own rules, which should be respected in the park, where it involves avoiding the use of machinery. Ecological routes have been developed for tourists, where they can visit the attractions of the national park on foot and by rafting. Literature data on the avifauna of the national park were studied for various ecological routes, and the expedition was organized to record birds to obtain new data for the development of ornithological tours and bird observation points.

This article examines the contribution of the system of specially protected natural areas to achieving sustainable development goals. As an example, the system of specially protected natural areas of the Nizhnekolymsky district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is considered as an Arctic territory that includes vast land and sea areas. The study region is characterized by the presence of vulnerable ecosystems, as well as unique biological diversity, rare species of flora and fauna, and local population engaged in a traditional way of life. The study takes into account the presence of current and potential environmental threats in the region, their brief description is provided. The prospects for tourism development in the protected areas of the studied region and the potential consequences of such activities in protected areas are briefly considered. Visual cartographic material has been developed to visualize the system of specially protected natural areas of the studied region.
