This article examines the impact of forest fires on the forest use structure in the Verkhnevilyui district from 2020 to 2024. Based on statistical data, an analysis of the dynamics of the forest lease agreements (DLP) and forest fires was conducted, including their distribution across various categories of forest fund. A direct correlation between the increase in fire-affected areas and a decrease in timber harvesting was identified. Measures for sustainable forest resource management, including enhanced monitoring and reforestation programs, are proposed.
