In recent years, the education system has undergone significant transformations due to the integration of digital technologies and the shift to online learning formats. For schoolchildren, this represents not only a new way of acquiring knowledge but also a restructuring of the entire social environment in which their interpersonal relationships are formed. Online learning alters traditional communication channels, reducing face-to-face interaction and impacting socialization processes. This research paper analyzes the changes observed in schoolchildren's social sphere during the transition to distance learning, as well as their level of psychological adaptation.
While the technical aspects of distance learning depend on the availability and quality of internet connectivity, the social implications for students remain insufficiently studied. This presents challenges for educators and parents, as supporting schoolchildren in these circumstances requires new approaches to fostering social interaction and emotional well-being.
