The purpose of this thesis is to create and test a dictionary of anatomical terms in four languages: Russian, English, Latin, Yakut. According to the Federal State Educational Standard, students of the Yakut Medical College must know anatomical terms (body parts, internal organs) in four languages. This dictionary designed according to the requirements of the Ministry of Education. Feedbacks were collected from forty-five first year students of Yakut Medical College. They gave their feedbacks voluntarily by filling google form consisting of three questions to assess and give recommendations to improve the dictionary. The overall feedback was constructively and positively given according to the feedback received from the participants. The dictionary will be a source and a useful learning tool for medical students regardless of all proposed suggestions given by stu-dents. Wishes and recommendations allowed us to formulate plans for the future, that is, improving the dictionary by adding transcriptions and illustrations.
Arkhangelskaya U. S., Katanov A. S., Dmitrieva O. N. GREEK-LATIN TERMINOLOGICAL ELEMENTS AS A UNIVERSAL CONSTRUCTOR OF MODERN MEDICAL VOCABULARY // Научно-методический электронный журнал «Концепт». – 2026. – . – URL: http://e-koncept.ru/2026/0.htm
The article is devoted to the study of the role of Greek-Latin terminological elements in the formation of modern medical terminology. The paper substantiates the concept of terminological elements as a "constructor" that allows understanding the meaning of complex clinical terms without referring to a dictionary. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the frequency analysis of terminological elements conducted by the author on the material of modern Russian clinical textbooks and medical records (2020–2025), as well as in the developed typology of typical students' errors when working with terminological elements. The appendix presents an educational minimum dictionary of the most frequent terminological elements and a set of exercises focused on eliminating the identified difficulties.
