Cardiovascular diseases are one of the main causes of death worldwide. In Yakutia there are 279 per 100 thousand patients. This work is devoted to the study of cardiovascular diseases, the identification of risk factors and the development of prevention recommendations for residents of Yakutia, taking into account the peculiarities of the region. Objectives Study heart diseases, the causes of their occurrence and write a recommendation for residents of Yakuti. Results A recommendation has been made for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases for residents of Yakutia. Conclusions and relevance Heart health is the key to a long and fulfilling life. It is im-portant to take care of the cardiovascular system by following a healthy lifestyle, including proper nutrition, regular exercise and giving up bad habits. Regular medical examinations and timely de-tection and treatment of heart and vascular diseases are crucial for maintaining health.

In the article the low molecular weight antioxidants, flavonoids and ascorbic acid content in Maianthemum bifolium L. was analyzed by the spectrophotometric method depending on the storage term. It was found that Maianthemum bifolium L. prefers partially shaded or shaded places (ranking 5th by Ellenberg scale) but occasionally occurs in sunlit ones. M. bifolium is an indicator of medium-moist soils. This plant species does not grow in wet or dry soils (ranking 5th by Ellenberg scale). It was found that the content of biologically active substances in the aerial part of Maianthemum bifolium L. decreases when stored for up to 9 months: ascorbic acid by 6.09%, low-molecular antioxidants by 18.28%, flavonoids by 16.54%, respectively.

This article examines the species diversity of all pharmacopeia and folk medicinal plants native to Yakutia. The analysiys reveals a significant variety of medicinal plants. The most diverse families are Asteraceae, Ranunculaceae, Rosaceae, Fabaceae, Cyperaceae, Lamiaceae, Polygonaceae, Apiaceae, Chenopodiaceae, Brassicaceae. The work is aimed at systematizing the available information and making up a complete list of medicinal plants of Yakutia. The presented data are intended to serve as a basis for further scientific research in the field of botany, plant ecology, biochemistry and pharmacology. In addition, this article will be useful for students, undergraduates and postgraduates specializing in those fields. It also contributes to the preservation of the unique flora of Yakutia.
