The article is devoted to the problem of choice and attitude to the chosen profession. The aim of the study is to determine the level of professional orientation. Researchers conducted a survey among the students of the Churapchinsky Agrarian and Technical College from groups: "Veterinary Medicine-22", "Fire Safety-20", "Welder-19", "Agronomy-21". The article gives a detailed analysis of their attitude to the chosen profession. The study found that students with different levels of professional consciousness were identified, but for the largest proportion of respondents it is sufficiently formed.

A profession is a form of activity based on certain knowledge, skills and experience. It assumes high qualifications and requires specialized education. If to put it simply people gain certain role in a specific field of activity after studying. But before studying it requires a professional self-determination.
