In recent years, electronic cigarettes (vaping) have gained wide popularity among young people. In order to study the prevalence of electronic cigarettes among students of the College of Communication in Yakutsk. Although a large number of students are aware of the harm from electronic cigarettes to their health, but still a temporary pleasure, the desire to express themselves is taken up. All this points to the need for active and ongoing preventive measures against vaping.

The article is devoted to the problem of choice and attitude to the chosen profession. The aim of the study is to determine the level of professional orientation. Researchers conducted a survey among the students of the Churapchinsky Agrarian and Technical College from groups: "Veterinary Medicine-22", "Fire Safety-20", "Welder-19", "Agronomy-21". The article gives a detailed analysis of their attitude to the chosen profession. The study found that students with different levels of professional consciousness were identified, but for the largest proportion of respondents it is sufficiently formed.

This article presents the results of a survey conducted among students of the North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov (500 people) in order to identify gender characteristics in the process of communication. Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained, it turned out that among the students surveyed with a competent type of response, there are more. The results of female respondents predominate.
