This article examines the application of floating houses (houseboats) and modular structures for the development of tourism infrastructure in the regions of Yakutia. It reviews the types of floating foundations, hull materials, and their adaptation to the region's harsh climatic conditions. The potential of using such technologies is substantiated in light of the active growth of extreme, recreational fishing, and ethnographic tourism in Yakutia. Floating houses enable the quick and cost-effective establishment of tourist bases in remote, picturesque locations where traditional construction is challenging.
