Russia is a country with great potential for tourism development. The article deals with certain aspects of tourism and hotel business in Russia and France. Particular attention is paid to the differences in the organization of hospitality. The work is divided into three parts: classification of hotels in Russia and France, distribution of hotel business in Russia, SWOT – analysis of hotel business in Russia.

Hunting tourism is a unique field of activity that combines elements of recreation, adventure and interaction with nature, the purpose of which is to hunt various animals in their natural habitat. In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), hunting tourism occupies an important place in the economy and cultural life of the region. It not only promotes the development of the tourism industry, but also helps to preserve the traditions of indigenous peoples, as well as supports local communities.

This article examines the application of floating houses (houseboats) and modular structures for the development of tourism infrastructure in the regions of Yakutia. It reviews the types of floating foundations, hull materials, and their adaptation to the region's harsh climatic conditions. The potential of using such technologies is substantiated in light of the active growth of extreme, recreational fishing, and ethnographic tourism in Yakutia. Floating houses enable the quick and cost-effective establishment of tourist bases in remote, picturesque locations where traditional construction is challenging.
