This work is a creative understanding of the works of the English writer Roald Dahl. Through the analysis of the creative activity of Roald Dahl and the formation of his characteristics, the features of his works are revealed. Despite the fact that Roald Dahl is one of the most recognizable children's writers in the world, not many people know him in Russia, but his novels have recently been used in Hollywood films of the first magnitude, such as «Charlie and the Chocolate Factory», «The BFG».
