. this work aims to the preserve and promote Sakha folktales through the use of modern multimedia tools. The primary objective is to create a series of animated films based on traditional narratives to spark the interest of youth and a wider audience in the cultural heritage of Sakha. The study involved the collection and analysis of Sakha folktales, examining their specific features, characters, and cultural context. The results of a sociological survey helped to assess the current level of public knowledge and engagement with Yakut tales and to identify the most effective methods for their revitalization. Significant focus is placed on the animation development process itself. The work also reviews existing projects on folklore visualization and provides an overview of animation tools used at different stages of film production. The project is designed for further development through the organization of workshops and cultural events for children, as well as participation in festivals and competitions. The creation of animated films based on Sakha tales proves to be an effective instrument for preserving and popularizing national folklore, making it accessible, engaging, and attractive for a modern audience.
