The declining proficiency and daily use of the Yakut language among children and youth in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) presents a significant socio-cultural challenge. Traditional educational and familial methods often prove insufficient against the compelling nature of digital media, which is predominantly in Russian and English. To address this, an innovative approach is proposed: the development of an educational board game based on gamification principles. This project aims to create an interactive tool designed to enhance motivation, facilitate Yakut language acquisition, and promote engagement with local cultural heritage. The abstract outlines the game's development, including its core concept centered around a journey across a stylized map of Yakutia, its mechanics involving task completion and vocabulary collection, and its key components such as thematic word cards, question cards, and action cards. The stages of prototyping and plans for pilot testing in school settings are summarized. The game is positioned as a versatile resource applicable in both formal education and informal learning contexts. Ultimately, this gamified intervention demonstrates considerable potential for increasing learner engagement, improving lexical retention, and supporting the preservation of Yakut linguistic and cultural identity in a globalized era.

. this work aims to the preserve and promote Sakha folktales through the use of modern multimedia tools. The primary objective is to create a series of animated films based on traditional narratives to spark the interest of youth and a wider audience in the cultural heritage of Sakha.
The study involved the collection and analysis of Sakha folktales, examining their specific features, characters, and cultural context. The results of a sociological survey helped to assess the current level of public knowledge and engagement with Yakut tales and to identify the most effective methods for their revitalization. Significant focus is placed on the animation development process itself. The work also reviews existing projects on folklore visualization and provides an overview of animation tools used at different stages of film production.
The project is designed for further development through the organization of workshops and cultural events for children, as well as participation in festivals and competitions. The creation of animated films based on Sakha tales proves to be an effective instrument for preserving and popularizing national folklore, making it accessible, engaging, and attractive for a modern audience.
