The article sums up the study of the formation of nouns with diminutive value at preschool children with the general underdevelopment of speech. On the basis of the study concluded that the inclusion in the work structure to overcome the general underdevelopment of speech in children of preschool age special work on the formation of diminutive suffixes of nouns in children.

The theoretical bases of derivation doctrine are considered in the article. As a separate branch in linguistics, derivation was finally formed only in the 20th century. Antique and medieval authors studied changes in language only in the context of other studies in morphology. However, their conclusions about the word change have formed a powerful methodological basis for studying derivation in the structural and subsequent stages of philological thought.

The article aims at describing morphological peculiarities of anthroponyms used by Cornelia Maria Funke in her Inkheart trilogy. All names are classified into five groups according to their morphological structure. The article can be used by teachers of German at schools and universities, students of foreign languages and all those interested in problems of word-formation.

The specificity of the seeking for an object and a person situation relevant for administrative and legal communication cause the frequent use of the verb to seek and verbal nouns naming different stages of investigative processes in cursive business texts. The author of the article explores the use of the verb to seek and its deverbatives in the regional clerical community, documents taking for consideration all the stylistical peculiarities (genre of a document) from the point of view of historical dictionaries and the Russian national corpus materials.
