The article defines socio-psychological maladaptation as a consequence of asocial lifestyle. The basic concepts of adaptation and disadaptation are revealed, the modern causes and features of a person's disadaptive state are given.

The relevance of the study consists in an attempt to empirically verify the idea about the opposition of self-realization of the individual and the tendency to deviant behavior as it is stated in the psychological literature. The purpose of the study was to test the assumption about the connection of self-realization aspects with various forms of deviant behavior. As a result, we found significant correlations between certain aspects of self-realization of young men studying in secondary specialized educational institutions and some forms of deviant behavior. The revealed connections are accompanied by probabilistic interpretations.
The article analyzes the role of state social policy in smoothing social deviations. Since social policy is the principles, methods for the regulation by the state of the socio-economic conditions of society and the relations between its social groups, the regulatory framework providing prevention, restriction and prohibition of the main socially dangerous forms of deviant activity is analyzed.
This article describes the concept of deviant behavior and its prevention through theatrical activities. The author presents the results of a study obtained on the basis of the MAOU SOSH and MBU DO CVR MO Krasnoarmeysky district using questionnaires: a questionnaire to identify adolescents prone to deviant behavior (N. S. Svirdlova) and a questionnaire to identify the level of development of communicative abilities (V. V. Boyko). The analysis of the research results allows the author to conclude that teenagers engaged in theatrical activities are more sociable and less inclined to deviant behavior than their peers. Thus, theatrical activity is an important tool in the prevention of deviant behavior of adolescents.
The article deals with the problem of the conflict of self-esteem of younger adolescents with deviant behavior, the features of the emergence and study of this problem by domestic and foreign scientists, consideration of internal conflict, social deprivation. The results of a study of younger adolescents, the methods used by domestic and foreign authors are given.
