The article presents an analysis of the appearance of anxiety, the results of the work of the teacher-psychologist, proving that anxiety is not a stable trait and relatively reversible during the various psycholog-ical, pedagogical, organizational forms. Child-parent activities with" elements of training", involving the As-sociation of adults (teachers, specialists in psychology, parents) and children as a means of developing a subjective position .

The article deals with the concept of emotional competence applied to the modern teacher of higher school. It is revealed that the structure of emotional competence includes two major spheres – internal (regulation of personal emotions, their control) and external (understanding of others’ emotions and influencing them). Both these spheres are significant for the teacher of the higher school and his productive professional work.

The article presents the results of studying the emotions of older preschoolers with mental retardation. The diagnostic procedure included two tasks on the material of children's literature. In addition, the observation method was used. It was found out that children with mental retardation make mistakes in the process of identification, verbalization and reproduction of emotional states. They do not differentiate similar emotions.
This article discusses the development of emotional in younger adolescence. The characteristic of younger adolescence is given. It describes the development of the emotional sphere of the younger teenager. The interpersonal emotional intelligence of younger teens is studied. A characteristic of the level indicators of interpersonal emotional intelligence of younger adolescents is given: the ability to understand the emotions of others and the ability to control the emotions of another person.
The rationale of this paper is characterized by the main role of emotions in the personal development, the high interest of native and foreign specialists to this issue, and understudied developmental problems of teen-age emotional intelligence development. It is given the data of emotional intelligence tests of 6th and 8th forms schoolchildren in Orenburg. The emotional intelligence level was scored by test «EmIn» suggested by D.V. Lusin. As a result of empirical research the difference of informative features in the structure of younger and elder schoolchildren’s emotional intelligence was developed.
