In this article, it goes about the difficulties which are common for the elementary school students to face with. These problems are connected with the process of listening during the English speaking classes. There are several abstracts concerning different ways of solving this problem. The empirical base of this article is the result of linguistic and pedagogical researches of some famous authors, who made analysis in this sphere.
The article focuses on the development of information literacy skills while implementing group interaction in the course of English language learning and acquisition. The author of the article analyses the key concepts and specifies tasks and activities, which enhance and foster information literacy. The article contains description of the positive sides of group interaction and indicates possible organizational obstacles. The author summarizes personal experience of group interaction implementation.

This article discusses the features of the English language, highlights the main reasons for its intensive spread and development around the world. The author also raises the question of linguistic globalization, analyzes the role of this process in the modern world and its impact on all spheres of public life.
The article focuses on the development of oral monologue speech skills while utilizing debate in the course of learning the English language at high school. The authors of the article analyse the key concepts and specify tasks and activities, which enhance and foster oral speech via debating. The article contains description of the positive sides of this teaching technique and indicates possible challenges. The authors summarize personal experience of conducting the debate.
In 2017 the President and the Government of the Russian Federation issued the acts establishing the launch of the digital economy in the country. The documents point out, that the existing vocational education programmes do not adequately meet the needs of the digital economy, digital learning tools are not sufficiently used in the final assessment procedures, the process is not fully integrated into the digital information environment. In the course of the investigation the content analysis of psychological, pedagogical and instructional literature on the problem of the research, government regulations and state educational standards, etc., as well as the empirical research by methods of pedagogical observation, survey and generalization of pedagogical experience were carried out. As a result, it was concluded that, firstly, traditional forms of state final certification of university graduates do not correspond to the requirements of the digital economy and have to be modernized; secondly, the procedure of state final certification can and have to be carried out in digital format, as required by the regulations of the President and the Government of the Russian Federation; thirdly, to assess the level of students’ in the field of training "Pedagogical education" universal and professional competencies development, in the foreign language and methods of instruction included, it is possible to use such assessment tools as an electronic portfolio, a demonstration exam, an electronic educational resource created by a student. The results contribute to the development of ideas about the possibility and ways of using digital technologies in the procedure of the state final certification of University students enrolled in bachelor's and master's degree programs in the field of "Pedagogical Education".
