In the course of the study, the authors revealed that in the context of increasing competition, the issues of cost optimization and improving the quality of customer service are included in the list of key performance indicators of modern distribution companies and retail chains. So, an important element in the supply chain for this line of business is the warehouse distribution, the efficiency of which, ultimately, significantly affects the efficiency of the business as a whole.
