This article examines the use of environmentally friendly construction materials in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Particular attention is given to materials that are adapted to the region’s harsh climatic conditions and contribute to reducing environmental damage. The authors’ works on the properties of ecological materials, their impact on the environment, and their prospects for application in the construction industry are reviewed. Recommendations are proposed for the implementation of environmentally friendly technologies in construction, taking into account the specificities of the region.

This article presents the experimental research results of the optimal composition selection for non-autoclaved aerated concrete of grade D800 (density 800 kg/m³) using three modification approaches: quicklime (CaO), hydrated lime (Ca(OH)₂), and hydrated lime combined with sodium sulfate (Na₂SO₄) as an accelerator. All compositions include fine river sand with a fraction up to 0.5 mm as a mandatory filler. Water content and water-to-binder ratio (W/B) were precisely optimized to ensure stable gas evolution and structural homogeneity. A comparative analysis was conducted based on technological parameters, mechanical properties, structural homogeneity, frost resistance, and economic feasibility. The study demonstrates that the combined use of hydrated lime with sodium sulfate at 1.5% of cement mass provides the optimal balance of compressive strength (B2.5–B3.5), frost resistance (F35–F50), and technological efficiency with minimal energy consumption–particularly critical for construction conditions in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
