In this article the author describes the theoretical part of the development of the textbook for geographers, presents the concept of the textbook, types of teaching manual and its differ-ences from the textbook, analyzes existing textbooks in English for students of geographical specialties. The purpose of this analysis is to identify the advantages and disadvantages of these benefits.

The article reveals the fruit of cinematography integration into the Mathematics study with the aid of movies examples. Nowadays, bilingual education is becoming more and more popular among different branches of science, especially in Maths. Obviously, the knowledge of language is useful in the educational sphere as it helps to get the specialists who will teach other people. That is why teaching Maths in English is one of the important ways to get more educated people in mathematical field. Thus, movies about mathematicians are seemed like a good opportunity to improve not only English skills but also study new terms and problems.

Linguistic politeness has a multifaceted nature and manifests itself through formal linguistic forms (discernment) and context-dependent tactics (volition). These forms of linguistic politeness are shaped by cultural norms and influence everyday communication in different languages. Understanding the similarities and differences of two different languages is the key to efficient intercultural communication between their representatives. This article explores the similarities and differences in the formal linguistic forms of linguistic politeness present in English and Chinese.
