This work is dedicated to the issue of addictive behavior. The theoretical literature and scientific works of various authors and scientists on the problem of addictive behavior have been studied. Also, a survey was conducted among first-year students of the medical institute at the North-Eastern Federal University to determine and identify addiction. An analysis of the survey was conducted, based on which conclusions were drawn.
