The article is devoted to the issues of improving territorial strategic planning by clarifying its functions and structure, involving the population, business community, and public administration bodies in the processes of working out and implementing the development strategy of the regions. The authors analyze the content of the strategy of socio-economic development of Krasnodar Region for a long-term period; identify features that slow down its practical implementation.

The prospects for tourism development, together with the scale of the great cultural heritage of the Russian regions and the lack of proper attention to the problem of its preservation for many years, make it important to study the effectiveness of public administration in this area. The purpose of the article is to assess the correlation of the content of the goals and objectives of state policy in the field of culture and tourism with the strategic priorities of national development, as well as approaches to their development and implementation. The analysis of changes in state policy priorities and main results in the field of culture and tourism in the context of national development goals confirms their fixation and compliance with the system of strategic planning. The author notes that it is necessary to improve approaches to their development and implementation, and to take some measures to improve the effectiveness of tools for the development of culture and tourism, primarily financial ones and infrastructure.
The article presents the author's approach to identifying the main elements of the mechanism for monitoring the implementation of the socio-economic development strategy of a municipality. The most important monitoring elements are identified and their interrelation is described. The focus is on the continuity and cyclical nature of the process, since based on the conclusions and results obtained during monitoring, the author recommends actions to adjust the strategy and, accordingly, change the target indicators of socio-economic development of the territory.
The article considers the role of marketing strategy, provides various definitions of marketing strategy, on the basis of which the current paradigm of modern marketing strategy is formulated, and also provides a conclusion about what should be the main focus in modern conditions of all marketing strategies.
In 2023, the energy problems department Larionov Institute of the Physical-technical Problems of the North celebrated its 65th anniversary. This article briefly presents the experience of the department for system research on the development of energy in the Northern region, including integrated energy supply systems, in addressing the challenges of development and operational management. The primary focus is on the energy research conducted by department over the past five years.
