Distance learning has existed for a long time, but the forced transition of universities to distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has sparked a lot of discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of such learning. The article analyzes some problems and suggests ways to solve them.

This paper examines Lang Lang's piano teaching methodology, analyzing its historical context, core characteristics, and historical positioning from a historical perspective. By tracing the influence of traditional piano teaching systems, the development of Chinese piano education, international exchange and integration, and transformations in the digital age, it reveals the historical origins of Lang Lang's teaching approach. The study discovers that Lang Lang, as one of China's most internationally influential contemporary pianists, developed his teaching methodology both within the unique context of China's piano education transition period and through the profound integration of Chinese and Western musical cultures within a globalized framework.

This article sheds light on the functional characteristics and didactic potential of two Russian online whiteboard platforms, Holst and Simple Class, used in the digital educational environment of higher education. The relevance of integrating such tools is elucidated within the broader digital transformation, where online platforms increasingly constitute essential instructional infrastructure. The study delineates the comparative strengths and limitations of both platforms and conceptualizes them as instruments that facilitate multimodal, interactive, and collaborative English language learning scenarios. The analysis substantiates their applicability to project-based, research-oriented, and language-focused instruction, while also interrogating constraints related to usability, analytics, and licensing. Taken together, these findings underscore the importance of a nuanced, evidence-informed approach to platform selection. The results hold theoretical and practical value, as they corroborate the role of online whiteboards in digital pedagogy and support informed decision-making by instructors and educational designers.
