Investigation of the Potential of Nonverbal Means of Communication at Specialized Seminars

Abstract. The article tackles the problem of the necessity of study of nonverbal components in close connection with the usual verbal means of communication. The survey of scientific schools studying nonverbal means of communication and terminology used to indicate the phenomenon in question is given. The structure and contents of the seminar “Nonverbal Means of Communication”, its aim and tasks are outlined; also the approximate range of problems for course papers that reflect the most topical issues of the research in the given area is demonstrated
