Abstract. The author examines the key approaches to the preparation of future teachers to the moral and spiritual education of preschool children by the means of fiction; various ways of the moral and spiritual education by means of fiction. Proceeding from leading role of emotions in preschool childhood, it was focused on the development of the internal activity of the child, which leads to the formation of moral and spiritual values. The general principles of development of the internal activities of preschool children in content of fiction, methods of work with fiction are proposed. Within each method are indicated certain principles and procedures.
