Abstract. The article is dedicated to educational conditions of preparation of future teachers to work in a rural junior school. The publication singles out and characterizes such educational conditions as formation of students’ positive motivation to work, integration of psychological, pedagogical and methodological preparation, utilization of students’ past experience, continuity of the relationship of theoretical and practical preparation, enriching the content of social sciences and humanities with information regarding the regional character of rural society.
