Tour as a means of extracurricular activities: the unity of form and content

Abstract. The paper analyzes the concept of a tour and its content. The author considers layers of meaning that will help researchers in conceptualizing the phenomenon of excursions. In addition, the author focuses on the specifics of excursions as a form of learning activity and on the main problems, encountered in the Russian education.
