Influence of initial fuel temperature on the characteristics of fuel injection and ignition delay period in the diesel engine

Abstract. The author analyzes the dependence of influence of initial temperature of the fuel on the Weber number and surface tension of a drop of diesel fuel moving into the combustion chamber, as well as on the ignition delay period.
