The importance of the principle of historicism in the methodology of the history of social pedagogy

Abstract. This article describes the principles of social pedagogy, the science, practice and direction of training; substantiates the need for research on the history of social pedagogy principle of historicism, as one of the methodological foundations of this science by identifying positive and negative manifestations of this principle. In this case, the principle of historicism is understood as a principle of knowledge of things and events in their growth and development, in close connection with generating their terms.
