Abstract. The paper deals with the basic questions of quality estimation of pedagogical testing. The authors show a fragment of mathematical-statistical analysis of test on discipline”Parsel land use planning”. It is necessary to conduct the correction of pedagogical test on the basis of the results of the analysis of test tasks, among which are difficulty, balance of test, differentiating ability. The steps for improvement of pedagogical measurements are proposed within the framework of competence-based approach in the Federal State Educational Standards.
