The relationship of anxiety and self-esteem in preschool age

Abstract. The paper deals with results of the research on relationship of anxiety and self-esteem in preschool age. The study was directed on children of preschool age. The authors identify level of self-esteem of each child and compare it with anxiety indices by using correlation analysis with calculation of Spearman's correlation coefficient. Positive correlation between measures of anxiety and self-esteem was revealed.
