Current status and development trends of the Russian economy

Abstract. The article is devoted to the consideration of the current state of the Russian banking system. The author defines the primary reasons for a decline in the ruble and the beginning of the systematic banking crisis. The comprehensive analysis of the oil price changes, the Central Bank policy, the unemployment level and other factors and indicators let forecast the further state of the banking system and the ruble movements.
