To the question about the formation of valeological knowledge in Russia

Abstract. This article presents some aspects of the evolution of valeological knowledge in Russia since the end of XX century and at the present time. Special attention is paid to the key for valeology of the term “health” from the perspective of scientists-founders of valeology and its modern understanding.
