Frame "the Paris terrorist attacks" in the development of Islamophobia and migrant in the American online media on the example of New York Times (NYT) and Washington Post (WP)

Abstract. This article examines the role of frame "the Paris terrorist attacks" in the development of Islamophobia, which then grow into migrant-phobia. In the study, the author came to the conclusion that the frame "terrorist attacks in Paris" is widely used in political technologies in the United States. It was also found that in order to justify harsh statements with respect to the policy of the Muslims used substitute frames, such as "terrorist" and "Muslim". At the same time with such a substitution of concepts Islamophobia has become more broad framework and became migrant-phobia.
