Abstract. The article deals with speech etiquette in intercultural communication and highlights the main rules of speech etiquette of different cultures. The peculiarities of speech etiquette of different nations on the level of greeting and farewell are studied, and the features of keeping a conversation with the help of questions and suggestions are considered.
