The article examines artificial intelligence as a fundamental tool for adapting the Russian Federation's economy to the conditions of a structural shortage of personnel and external sanctions pressure. It identifies the impossibility of further using extensive growth models and substantiates the need to switch to algorithmic management methods in industry and logistics. The article proposes a set of government measures, including the implementation of intellectual maturity standards for state corporations and the creation of sovereign «data lakes» for training industry-specific neural networks. The implementation of these initiatives will help compensate for the shortage of labor resources and ensure the growth of labor productivity necessary for maintaining national economic security.
